Goodbye August, Hello {Wedding Month}!!!

August, You were good to me. You held a lot of fun and exciting things. Now its time to say goodbye, and I’m okay with that. Wedding month here we come!

As you will see, august brought so many things! One wonderful thing was Nathan and I had marriage counseling every Sunday, so we saw each other bunches! Probably the most ever in our 3 years of courting, which definitely helped August move faster.

1, 2, 3, 4: A fun week spent with my sister and nephew while my brother-in-law was out of town. We cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, and had fun running errands and talking each others ears off! Oh, and as you can see lots of Graham snuggles.

5, 6: Nathan and I went with my younger sister and her guy to taco bell and the beach for volleyball with my cousins! The weather was gorgeous and the sunset stunning - I love hanging out in the sand with my Fiancé.  (Funny, I don’t like “the beach” at all, but if it’s in the evening for a stroll, I love it!)

7: My newest nephew (Nathan’s sisters baby) was born! Levi is absolutely adorable and it makes me realize how big Graham actually is.

8: And more Graham snuggles at our house, because they’re amazing.

9, 10: The second Sunday, after counseling, Nathan and I with my sister Sarah went on a furniture shopping trip to IKEA! We were able to get our bed and dresser, which was very exciting.

11: Later that week, Mom and I drove down to the apartment to bring the furniture. Here is our put together dresser!

12: Nathan (and soon me!) lives in the apartment beside his sister, so I got to meet and cuddle with Levi! So squishy and cute.

13: We also put together our bed and, not pictured, bought a mattress!

14: Graham snuggles.

15: Celebrating Dad’s 50th

16: Learning from my pastors messages

17: Graham again!

18: Shopping trip at Old Navy with Nathan! Well… window shopping at least ;)

19: A fun, slightly adventurous double date with my cousin and his fiancé. They are super fun to be with, so even though our plans didn’t pan out how we had wanted it was still a great time!

20. Our attempt at a group picture =P

21, 22, 23, 24: One of the most exciting things was this past Friday when Nathan and I got our marriage license! We went down to Charlotte County’s clerks office, filled out some paperwork, took an oath, and got our license. Now we can officially get married! We also knocked out some wedding to do’s that day by finding pants for Nathan’s wedding outfit and picking up some food stuffs for the waffle bar.

25, 26, 27, 28: The 30th, I got to go down and babysit Graham while Hayden and Jaquelyn went out for Hayden’s birthday. We had lots of fun together - laughing, playing, walking and experimenting with a sippy cup. The day ended with a bath for Graham and Mario Kart with his parents!

29, 30, 31: I’ve been trying to be more intentional about my quiet time with the Lord, and I’ve been going through Philippians and just started doing Hosea and Colossians. I’m also doing a september scripture challenge, a challenge to read His word every day in September. With the wedding and then Honeymoon, it might be interesting - but also very good!

And last, but definitely not least, today is September 1st and that means only 19 days (say what??) until I marry the love of my life!! I’m actually getting kind of nervous about pulling it all off, but I know if at the end of the day we are husband and wife, any details that may not have been perfect, mean nothing.

Let’s do this, September!

Until next time…
